UNSW INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH WORKSHOP An International Research Workshop was held at UNSW 20-22 February 2008. The purpose of this workshop was to develop international research linkages in the areas of Science, Engineering and Medicine. The School of Materials Science and Engineering played a major part in this workshop with considerable interest from the 95 international delegates, predominately from the Asian region, in developing research collaborations with the School over a wide range of areas. The School is particularly interested in furthering its already extensive links with other Universities within its region. The Head of School, Professor Mark Hoffman, gave a presentation to delegates on an area of particular interest entitled, “Nanomaterials in Engineering”, in which all of the School’s researchers are involved. A copy of the presentation may be found here (Sideshow in Flash format). The presentation requires Macromedia Flash Player 6 or higher. |
