Justin Armellin, School PhD student, wins 2007 UNSW Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence
Justin Armellin, a PhD student in the School, has won the 2007 UNSW Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence in Sessional Teaching (tutors and laboratory demonstrators).
Justin received the Award for his excellent demonstrating in undergraduate teaching laboratories, in particular, in the class MATS1101 Engineering Materials, taught to over 1000 engineering students in 2006&7. The enthusiasm and quality of the Justin’s laboratory classes make him a popular winner of this well-deserved award; he has received outstanding feedback also from students. The Award also recognises the hard work that Justin has put into preparing his classes, acknowledging the significant impact that laboratory demonstrators have upon students’ experience and learning.
Justin will receive his award at the Materials Science and Engineering students’ graduation ceremony on Monday 28 April at 6:30pm in the Clancy Auditorium.
