ARC funds new research hub
The Australian Research Council has today announced the funding of the research hub for “Transforming Waste Directly in Cost-effective Green Manufacturing” to be centred at the School. The initiative is led by Scientia Professor Veena Sahajwalla and Emeritus Professor Oleg Ostrovski will be a chief investigator in the hub.
Funding from ARC will be over five years. The ARC contribution will be approximately $2.2M supplemented by approximately $1.6M in industry funds. The hub is a consortium of several universities and a number of industry partners.
