Matthew Komiyama wins School Postgraduate Student Presentation Competition

I am very pleased to announce that Matthew Komiyama has won the 2011 School Postgraduate Student Presentation Competition for his presentation entitled: “How to make blast furnaces last longer – a computer aided analysis”. Matthew impressed the judges with his ability to communicate his very high level research in an informative and exciting way. In addition to a certificate and a prize of $500 towards future conference travel, Matthew will also be representing the School at the NSW Branch Materials Australia student seminar evening on 30 November.
