MS&E Research Fellow wins EDPIC Young Scientist Award 2014
Congratulations to one of the School’s research fellows, Manuel Hinterstein, who has been awarded the European Powder Diffraction Conference (EPDIC) Young Scientist Award for 2014 for his work in understanding poling mechanisms in piezoelectric ceramics. This award honours outstanding scientific achievement by young scientists in the field of powder diffraction. Manuel has been invited to present a plenary talk at the next EPDIC conference, to be held in Denmark next June.
Manuel recently came to UNSW from Germany on a Humboldt Fellowship and is working with Mark Hoffman.
