Nagarajan Valanoor, awarded Edgeworth David Meda
School researcher, Associate Professor Nagarajan Valanoor (Nagy) has been awarded the 2009 Edgeworth David Medal of the Royal Society of NSW.
The medal has been awarded annually since 1948 to for distinguished contributions by a young scientists under the age of thirty-five (35) years for work done mainly in Australia or its territories; or, contributing to the advancement of Australian science.
Nagy currently holds an ARC Australian Research Fellowship and works in the area of ferroelectric thin films.
The award will be presented at the Society’s annual dinner on 12 March by the Chief Scientist and Scientific Engineer of NSW, Professor Mary O’Kane.
