Progress continues on our new building
Construction on the new Materials Science and Engineering building is now well underway. With the recent dry weather very few days have been lost to inclement weather and the project is on schedule. Excavation, to accommodate the basement, is complete and concrete will start to be poured very soon. A tower crane is now on site and early next year the building will begin to rise out of the ground.
There’s a long way to go, but in early 2015 the School will be moving into state-of-the-art new premises. This new building will provide staff and students in the School with exceptional, state of the art research laboratories and versatile collaborate learning spaces. More details about this exciting development can be found here.
