How to find us

Located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, the University of New South Wales is located near the business hub of Australia's largest city, it is easily accessible from the city and the many nearby seaside suburbs, and offers extensive educational and recreational facilities in a modern, attractive environment. The position of the University in relation to sydney can be found from here.
 

Travelling by Bus

Getting to the University via public transport is very easy and convenient. The major bus routes to the University are:

 Central Station - Eddy Avenue (Stands C & D)  895 Express, 393, 395
 City - Elizabeth Street  390-2, 394, 396-9
 Circular Quay - Alfred St (Stand E)  390-2, 394, 396-9
 Bondi Junction and Burwood  400
 Coogee, Newtown, Sydney Univesity, Leichhardt  370
 

Travelling by Car

From the CBD

Proceed along Oxford Street, then turn right into Flinders Street, and continue to Anzac Parade. UNSW is located along Anzac Parade, sandwiched between High Street and Barker Street.

From the Airport

Proceed to O'Riordan Street, turn right into Gardener's Road to the end. Make a left turn at the large roundabout onto Anzac Parade, UNSW is 4 blocks up Anzac Parade.

Parking

Parking is available at Barker Street Parking Station, which is accessible via Gate 14 at Barker Street. Metered parking is on the top levels.

Location of School of Materials Science and Engineering in the UNSW Kensington Campus

The School of Materials Science and Engineering is located in the UNSW Kensington Campus with reference E8 on the campus map. It is behind the Law Building and next to the Roundhouse.
