Masters of Philosophy

Duration

Full-time – 1.5 years, Part-time – 3 years

Designed for

Graduates seeking to enhance both basic technical background (by coursework) and research experience (by project work). This program is suitable for students with backgrounds in Materials Science and Engineering and those wishing to increase their knowledge and expertise in specific areas of Materials Science and Engineering.

Entry Requirements

Normally a 4-year engineering or science degree*

Course Details

Courses may be selected across a wide range of disciplines, as determined in consultation with the student’s supervisor. The research project represents the core component of the program content and the thesis will be assessed by oral examination before a committee.

*Applications outside the entry requirement guidelines will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
