Scholarships Scholarships to Study in Materials There are a large number of opportunities to receive a scholarship to while studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering degree in materials. Scholarships provide not only financial support for students' studies but usually also important opportunities to obtain experience and contacts in the profession through our industry partners. These greatly increase employability and provide networks for your professional future.
The types of scholarships offered each year are: Industry Scholarships Value: $2,500 p.a. for 4 years. These are provided by industry sponsors who also usually offer an opportunity for professional experience. Further information.
School Scholarships Value: $1,000-$2,500 p.a. for 4 years. Further information.
Co-op Scholarships Value: $13,400 p.a. for 5 years. These are provided by industry sponsors and include 18 months industrial experience through the course of study. Further information on the MaterialsCoop Programme.
There are currently 22 receipients of Co-op Scholarships and a further 40 recipients of Industry and School School Scholarships studying in the School. Total industry committment to Materials scholarships is currently over $350,000 per annum. Important Information
