Industry Partnership with the School of Materials Science and Engineering

Our Industry Partners are in integral part of our life as a School through their participation in research and also support of our educational programs.

Why sponsor scholarships ?

What will it cost ?

There are a number of different sponsoring options:

  • The UNSW Co-Op Program is a scholarship program set up by industry and the University of New South Wales to provide money (in 2005 $13,400 pa) and Industry Training. This program includes 16 months on site Industrial Training.
  • $10,000 to sponsor a student for 4 years. The scholarship will take the name of the sponsor and can include periods of work by the student at your site. The student will be fully covered by the University's insurance.
  • $4,000 to sponsor a student for 4 years. The scholarship shall take the name of the sponsor.
  • A donation to the Sir Rupert Myers Undergraduate Scholarship fund
