Industry and School Scholarships Materials Science & Engineering at UNSW has a number of different scholarships available for undergraduate students. Most of these scholarships are offered to students entering first year. Scholarships supported by our generous industry partners often include valuable work experience and the opportunity for undergraduates to build relationships with and an understanding of the industries supporting them. Scholarships continue for the standard duration of the Bachelor of Engineering Program.
The School of Materials Engineering continues to provide a large number of scholarships every year. The continuing committment of our sponsors testifies to the quality of our graduates and the continuing need for new talent to transform materials into an innovative and sustainable future. With well over 40 scholarship holders within the School all students with an interest in chemistry, physics or mathematics and the application of these to our world are encouraged to apply.
There are three types of scholarship available to study materials. Industry and School scholarships are outlined below. Another type of industry-sponsored scholarship is the Co-op scholarship described on another page. The University of New South Wales also offers scholarships. As well as scholarships, there are prizes for success during study. Contact Amanda Smith for further information.
