Student societies

MATSOC party 2

Our student societies are the lifeblood of the school, organising social and industry events and forming a bridge between students and staff. We have two societies in the school: MATSOC is our undergraduate student society while PGSOC is for postgraduate students. These societies do, however, come together to host events such as the MATSOC/PGSOC Sports Day, Trivia Night and Board Games Night. You can find some images of our societies' great events below. MATSOC
MATSOC is the student society for all students studying Materials Science & Engineering at the University of New South Wales.

PGSOC
PGSOC is the social arm of the school's postgraduate community. It aims to encourage communication among postgraduate students and improve the quality of student life in the school.
